The Sharp 50FJ2K also features Freeview Play. This combines
catch-up TV, on-demand services and live television to make it easy to
watch what you want, when you want. It's free from subscription and
compatible with existing broadband services, while BBC iPlayer, All 4
and Demand 5 are available without having to open specific apps, giving
effortless scroll-back TV (requires broadband Internet connection with a
minimum speed of 2Mbps).
All the connections you need
With a trio of HDMI sockets, this Sharp TV has all your main
sources covered, including a soundbar via the eARC HDMI socket. There
are also two USB sockets that are ideal for connecting your media
devices. Other connections include a headphone socket for private
listening, optical digital output for an older soundbar or AV system and
a composite input for legacy sources.
