They are arranged in such a way that the rolling resistance is low and you can make quick progress at any time without completely exhausting yourself. You don't have to be afraid of breakdowns either. The ProTection insert and the option of tubeless riding reduce the risk of a flat tire to a minimum. You can simply enjoy your tour.
Black Chili Compound
At Continental, BlackChili means above all that grip, rolling resistance and durability are combined at a high level. You can almost believe in magic. Continental simply uses the very latest and best technologies. Polymers, soot particles optimized down to the nano range, and fillers guarantee the unique performance of the BlackChili compound. It revolutionized the basic conflict between grip and rolling resistance. Approx. 30% more grip and a 26% improved rolling resistance compared to a silica compound ensure better performance and safety.
Continental tires are made entirely of this high-quality rubber compound. This means that they can be worn down to the carcass without losing the first-class properties of this material.
Protection
The ProTection technology gives the tire perfect puncture protection. It is achieved through a continuous additional layer, which increases the resistance to injuries of any kind. However, this does not reduce the good rolling properties of Continental tires.
