New for the model year, the URB 8.6 is Boardman’s entry level Urban Hybrid bike. Sleek, simple, reliable and easy to maintain, this lightweight bike is fast and efficient making it ideal for getting around without a fuss.
The Boardman URB 8.6 is built on a lightweight, hydroformed aluminium frame with smooth welds and a tapered aluminium fork which offers fantastic stability and steering control. The frame has been designed to be efficient whilst maximising comfort and ensuring the rider has good head up visibility. Vittoria 32mm tyres give confidence with superb grip and comfort but also have low rolling resistance so speed is not lost. They also feature a puncture resistant layer to keep your riding as hassle free as possible. The URB 8.6 uses a nexus 3-speed hub paired with a rust resistant chain that are low maintenance and therefore a perfect combination for city commutes. No matter the weather you’ll be able to rely on the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes to bring you to a controlled stop quickly.
