- Lightweight HollowTech II 105 12-speed chainset.
- Innovative HollowTech forged and anodised aluminium crank arms utilise a hollow design that minimises flex and keeps the weight low.
- The chainring teeth have been developed to work in conjunction with Hyperglide+ 12-speed chains for increased contact to provide greater efficiency and improved power transfer.
- HollowTech II allows the bottom bracket bearings to be spaced wider apart, enabling the use of larger bearings and an increased axle diameter.
- Can be used with Shimano external or press-fit bottom brackets.
- The system allows for easier installation, adjustment, and maintenance.
- Lightweight anodised aluminium chainrings for smooth and precise shifting.
An attractive aluminum crank with hollow arms for lightweight, rigidity, and durability.
The newly designed crank arms offer an optimized balance between low weight and efficiency. The crank, formed with hollow aluminum technology, is anodized with a beautiful gloss black anodized finish, giving it a luxurious look. The resin ribs on the back of the chainrings are Shimano 105's unique structural design that achieves both thorough weight reduction and crisp shifting performance.
The 105 R7100 12 speed chainset has been designed to work in conjunction with the complete new R7100 groupset. There are available combinations of crank length to suit all types of rider and riding styles.
