The community of gravel fans is also growing in our country. It's simply fun to ride fast and comfortably on gravel or forest highways. Continental offers you the perfect tire for your off-road adventures.
The many knobs are slightly higher than in the Speed version and, together with the PureGrip Compound, ensure excellent grip on almost any surface. In addition, they have been raised high on the sidewall to generate better grip in bends. They are arranged in such a way that the rolling resistance is low and you can make rapid progress at all times without exhausting yourself completely.
PureGrip Compound
Based on the activated silica compound, a compound technology in the performance segment was developed with determination. After intensive development work, the Korbach research and development team came up with a new compound technology with outstanding grip and cross-country properties. The new rubber compound with the self-explanatory name "Pure Grip" joins the ranks behind our BlackChili compound and is used in performance products in the race and mountain bike segments. Here it ensures long-lasting traction and high mileage for Continental tires, which are manufactured exclusively in the production facility in Hefei (Asia).
ShieldWall System
The ShieldWall system combines high puncture protection with smooth running and low weight. These properties are achieved by an additional, all-round puncture protection layer. This makes the tire highly resistant to punctures and other damage. Despite the additional puncture protection layer, the tire has very good damping properties and flexibility to adapt to the surface.
